Bangladesh skipper finds change of pace as key against India in tri-nation series
India has made a lot of change of pace, even with the spinners, so we need to apply this sort of things for our bowling department, said captain of the Bangladesh cricket team, Mahmudullah on Wednesday (March 13) at a news conference in Colombo.
Bangladesh will be facing India in the fifth match of the tri-nation series in the Srilankan capital city on Wednesday (March 14) for a spot in the final. The last match of The Tigers against Men In Blue didn’t go well as the Indian side emerged victorious with six wickets to spare. However, the Mahmudullah side is riding on the confidence of a victory in the last match against Sri Lanka.
The Bangla skipper also shared his ambition to create the ‘Bangladeshi brand of T20 cricket’ as he called it and hence the need to take calculated risk.
With two victories and four points in its kitty, India is at the top of the table. The fifth match is slated for Wednesday at R. Premadasa stadium where India and Bangladesh will lock horns as the latter is looking forward to its second win in the series.
