Londoners bake in summer heat
The UK saw another hot day on Friday (June 29) with temperatures reaching 27C (80.6F) in the capital.
The heatwave brought out office workers and sunbathers in London, who were enjoying ice creams and cold drinks in the sun.
On Thursday (June 28) all four UK nations saw temperatures over 30C (86F) for the first time in five years, BBC Weather said.
The highest temperature was recorded at 32.6C (90.68F) in Porthmadog, Wales on Thursday which set a new record high for 2018, according to BBC Weather.
