Duke of Cambridge officially re-opens London Bridge Station
Britain’s Prince William unveiled a plaque at London Bridge Station on Wednesday (May 9) to mark the official re-opening of the area after significant redevelopment.
The Duke was greeted by the UK’s Transport Minister Chris Grayling and Network Rail Chief Executive Mark Carne before walking around the station meeting those involved in the project.
It was the first official event Prince Wiliam has undertaken since the birth of his third child Prince Louis last month.
London Bridge Station has undergone a five-year rebuild which has seen a huge concourse created, tracks upgraded, platforms widened and a new underpass built.
