Injury rules all-rounder Kedar Jadhav out of IPL
Indian batsman Kedar Jadhav has been ruled out of the tournament as his hamstring scan didn’t come back so good, announced Indian Premier League’s season favourites Chennai Super Kings’ batting coach, Michael Hussey on Monday (April 09).
Addressing a news conference, Hussey expressed disappointment for the team’s loss for a key all rounder like Jadhav.
In another blow to the team, right-handed batsman Murali Vijay also got injured during his training but is expected to recover soon. South African cricketer, Faf Du Plessis won’t feature in Tuesday’s (April 10) match against Kolkata Knight Riders either due to a finger injury.
Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Dwayne Bravo smashed a quick-fire 68 to help his side return from a two-year hiatus with a thrilling victory over Mumbai Indians in the first match of the Indian Premier League on Saturday (April 07). It is now set to face Kolkata Knight Riders on Tuesday (April 10) at M.A Chidambaram stadium in India’s southern Chennai city.
