Ivanka Trump visits U.S. Olympic team house
President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka made a brief visit to the US Olympic team’s house on Saturday (February 24) as part of her visit to South Korea.
Part of a delegation sent by her father to take part in the closing ceremony of the Winter Olympics on Sunday, Ivanka is mixing diplomacy with watching sport.
She had dinner with South Korea President Moon Jae-in on Friday, watched the Big Air snowboard competition on Saturday morning and will take in the men’s curling final between the USA and Sweden later in the day.
Ivanka spent around 10 minutes meeting U.S. athletes and Olympic staff at the U.S. house before leaving without speaking to reporters.
