Powers will be shared within the United Country: PM
Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe said, Powers will be shared in the United Country, and the priority given to Buddhism will be similar.
The prime minister said this while Participating in a political talk show broadcast on a private television yesterday (January 30)
He further said, Former President Mahinda Rajapakshe’s party is making false statements, that the fate of the country is to be divided and the priority given to Buddhist ethics is being stripped. They are contesting the upcoming election, focusing on these issues. But it never happen. But powers will share within united country, he added.
And also he promised, if the allegations imposed on their party members in connection with the bond issues are proven, they will be punished.
The prime minister pointed out that Arjun Mahendran was appointed as governor of the Central Bank based on certain practices followed in Britain and Canada.
