London fire crews tackle huge paint factory blaze
Flames tore through a paint factory in north London on Monday (January 8) night.
London Fire Brigade told local people to stay indoors with their windows shut as thick black smoke poured from the building in the Staples Corner area.
A total of 15 tenders and almost 100 firefighters tackled the blaze.
A London Fire Brigade spokesperson said there had been no reports of injuries in the fire, which could be seen across the capital and had completely destroyed the single storey building.
Emergency services were called at 2120gmt and the blaze was under control by 0022gmt. The cause is so far unknown.
