World Internet Conference releases new technologies, achievements
Eighteen latest achievements and innovations of Internet science were released at the Release Ceremony for World Leading Internet Scientific and Technological Achievements held in Wuzhen, east China’s Zhejiang Province, on Sunday.
The 18 achievements include theoretical research results, cutting-edge technologies, the most influential products and innovative business models developed by heavyweight Chinese and foreign technology companies including Huawei, Tencent, and Microsoft.
The World Internet Conference Committee, in keeping with the principle of being fair, impartial, objective and authoritative, set up a committee consisting of 43 world famous Internet experts to select and recommend the entries from Internet enterprises, universities, scientific research institutions and individuals across the world.
After over one year’s selection and recommendation, the 18 achievements won the tickets to the conference where they have been shown to the world.
The 4th World Internet Conference slated from Sunday to Tuesday has attracted over 1,500 guests from more than 80 countries and regions, including government representatives, heads of international organizations, leading figures of internet companies, online celebrities, experts and scholars.
