Dalai Lama discusses ‘promotion of oneness’ with Obama
Exiled Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama on Friday (December 01) discussed the “promotion of oneness” in the world with former U.S. President Barack Obama.
The Nobel Laureate met Obama in New Delhi and after arriving in northern hill town of Dharamasala, he said their discussions revolved around oneness.
He said if peace and oneness was not promoted, then the world would suffer.
Obama is on a three-nation trip to India, China and France. He attended a town hall organised by his foundation in New Delhi. Reportedly, Obama also met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the national capital.
During his eight-year tenure at the White House, Obama has met the Dalai Lama on four occasions.
