Britain’s Prince Charles meets Indian PM Modi in New Delhi
Britain’s Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Wednesday (November 8) as part of a two-day visit to boost bilateral ties.
Charles and Modi were expected to discuss a wide range of issues, including upcoming Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), which will take place in April 2018 in the United Kingdom, and climate change.
The visit is part of their 10-day four-nation tour to Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei and India. This visit, the ninth of the Prince of Wales to India, is aimed at strengthening the bilateral relations between the two nations.
