UK report states Prince George’s name on ISIS hit list
According to UK media report, 4 year old son of of Prince William and Kate Middleton is on hit list of ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) also called Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL)
The agency has threatened to kill the Prince. The threat appeared as part of a message posted by IS members on social media.
A picture of the future king outside Thomas’s School, Battersea, was also allegedly shared on the encrypted messaging app along with the school’s address and the comment “school starts early”.
A Daily Star investigation uncovered the vile messages and was told by security experts it was critical to monitor the messaging service.
The message allegedly also included words from a jihadi song which translate as, “When war comes with the melody of bullets, we descend on disbelief, desiring retaliation”.
Prince George, who is the third-in-line to the British throne, had started his term at a primary school near the family’s Kensington Palace home in central London last month.
The Security is quite heavy at the school, but may be reviewed after the threat.People working at Prince George’s school, Thomas’s Battersea, have already raised concerns about his safety.
The IS is known to prefer Telegram because messages are encrypted and keep the user’s location hidden.
ISIS also used the app to recruit the perpetrators of the Christmas market attack in Berlin last year and claim credit for the massacre.
Barry Spielman, whose internet surveillance firm Sixgill has been tracking Telegram channels since the start of the year, told the Star: “Now we are seeing explicit threats.
He added, “It seems that as Isis continues to lose ground in Syria and Iraq, it has stepped up its threats to hit the West.”
This isn’t the first time ISIS have threatened a member of the royal family.
