Dengue cases rises in Tamil Nadu: Claimed 85 lives

As dengue cases rise in India, there are reports of dengue fever spreading rapidly in Tamil Nadu.

More than 12,000 people in TN have tested positive for dengue  and admitted in hospitals. As many as 85 people have died of dengue in Tamil Nadu.

Not only in Tamil Nadu, the dengue fever is made a severe impact on whole over the country. In Tamil Nadu about 12,100 people have being treated in government and private hospitals across Tamil Nadu a Tamil Nadu health officer stated.

He further said, Dengue prevention units have been established in all government hospitals and primary health centers. These units operates 24 hours. Doctors, nurses, are under observation.

A total of 737 machines were provided at a cost of Rs 24 crore for the immediate detection of blood tissues. There are also separate treatment centers with 30 beds at primary health centers. And 17 thousand doctors and nurses have been employed across Tamil Nadu.
