Kathiresan (66) of Melur, whose petition claiming that Tamil actor Dhanush was his son was previously dismissed by the Madras High Court (Madurai Bench), on Thursday filed a police complaint seeking action against the actor for reportedly producing fake birth certificate and school transfer certificate in the Madurai Bench of Madras High Court.

Accompanied by his advocate, S. Titus, Mr. Kathiresan lodged a complaint with the K. Pudur police station in Madurai city.

Titus said that the police had asked him to meet the Commissioner of Police, Mahesh Kumar Aggarwal, in this connection.

Kathiresan claimed that the birth certificate and school TC produced by the actor in the High Court were proved to be fake after his advocate verified the documents at the Government Women and Children hospital in Egmore and with the Chennai Corporation.

“We could not find any such document in the hospital. Similarly, the officials in Chennai Corporation asked us to verify it through the Corporation website and there too it was not found,” Titus said.
