‘We’re going to help, your officials doing a fantastic job’ -Trump to survivors
President Donald Trump visited Puerto Rico on Tuesday (October 3) on a mission to reassure the island’s struggling residents that he is committed to their recovery from a devastating hurricane that has tested his ability to manage natural disasters.
As part of their visit, Trump and First Lady Melania, along with Puerto Rican Governor Ricardo Rossello, were taken on a tour of a residential neighborhood in Guaynabo near the capitol where they were met with families standing outside their homes for photo ops with the American president.
“We’re going to help you out. Have a good time,” Trump told one couple while shaking hands.
