Indian railway rush hour stampede injures 20
A rush hour stampede at a railway station in the Indian financial hub of Mumbai wounded more than 20 people, a police official said.
Government Railway Police Commissioner Niket Kaushik said the cause of the stampede at the Elphinstone railway station amid a heavy downpour was being investigated.
A local eyewitness explained the incident saying that initially three women fell down initiating the domino effect. However, the condition of the three women was immediately not known.
As per the reports, more than 22 people have been killed in the incident.
