Prince Harry greets invictus games athletes
Britain’s Prince Harry congratulated athletes at the Invictus Games Foundation reception on Tuesday (September 26). The Invictus games feature more than 550 injured and wounded servicemen and women from 17 allied nations competing in 12 adaptive sports.
Prince Harry said the Invictus athletes were the type of role models needed in society.
The international adaptive sporting event for wounded, ill and injured servicemen, servicewomen and veterans includes archery, athletics, cycling, indoor rowing, powerlifting, sitting volleyball, swimming, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair rugby, wheelchair tennis, and, for the first time, golf.
