Robot Combat Competition final kicks off at the World Robot Conference in Beijing
The Robot Combat Competition kicked off at the World Robot Conference on Sunday (August 27) in Beijing with enthusiasts bringing along their robots crashing and tackling with the others trying to be the winners.
Three hundred and thirty teams from across the country participated in the competition which is part of the World Robot Conference. Exhibitors from different areas of robotic research will be showcasing their work.
The event is followed by competitions including China Drone Racing, Robot Combat Competition, the Youth Design Contest, BCI Controlled Robot Contest and International USV open 2017.
Fans wowed during the contests and are impressed with the level of advancement in some of the machines. China is still one of the largest markets for industrial robots with a growing demand for these kinds of products.
The World Robot Conference began on August 23rd and ends on August 27th.
