Chief Minister of the Eastern Provincial Council Ahamed Nazeer stated that the minority communities who had supported to establish the government for good governance have not lost confidence though the activities of the government have been unsatisfactory.

The chief minister made these remarks while addressing at an event at Kattankudy in the District of Batticaloa today (July 13).

He said if the provincial councils were vested with powers, the unemployed graduates would not have been on street today. Since the central government holds all power, the provincial councils were looking for ministries for solutions every time, he added.
