CM Wigneswaran on discussion with allied parties over allegation on Ministers
Northern Province Chief Minister C.V. Wigneswaran is said to be on discussion with the allied party members of the governing Tamil National Alliance over the allegations on Provincial Ministers.
Accordingly, the Chief Minister has had discussion with the party leaders and members of the governing side members of the province.
The committee which investigated the allegations on four ministers had submitted its report to Mr. Wigneswaran suggesting to expel two ministers as they had collected enough evidence to prove the corruption leveled against them.
The NPC is gathering on Wednesday (June 14) to debate on this particular matter.
Meanwhile, the Illankai Tamil Arasu Kachchi (ITAK) has expressed its disagreement to expel the ministers.
It is expected Mr. Wigneswaran will take the final decision in this regard.
