Mahinda calls on Ministers, Police not to boost communal tension
Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa urged the Ministers and the Police to be vigilant when addressing to the public.
He said some Ministers and Police personnel try to boost communal tensions when they address the public.
He added that when commenting on the attacks on religious places and business outlets of the minority community, some ministers as well as police personnel had expressed in a way that were based on racism and raised communal hatred.
He said the ministers should keep their dignity while commenting on public matters.
