Invictus Games 2016: Prince Harry greets athletes at swimming venue
Britain’s Prince Harry greeted athletes at the swimming venue Friday (May 6), two days before the opening ceremonies for the 2016 Invictus Games.
Harry toured the swimming venue at the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex in Orlando, Florida, greeting athletes and taking photos ahead of the start of the five day Olympic style sporting event.
The 2016 Invictus Games are the second edition of the event for wounded military servicemen and women that was founded by Harry. The inaugural Invictus Games took place in London in 2014.
Athletes from 15 countries are scheduled to compete, including wounded servicemen and women from Iraq and Afghanistan, in 11 events from archery to wheelchair tennis.
