The Prime Minister or the government does not need to divide the Tamil National Alliance which has been the representative of the Tamil people, said the House leader Lakshman Kiriella.

The cracks in the party is only because of the difference of opinions between the party men; those who speak racism and those who have a flexible approach.

He made this remark while commenting on the formation of the Tamil People’s Council under the co-chair of C.V.Vigneswaran.

“Some people accuse that the Prime Minister try to divide the TNA which is a strong and key Party of the Tamil people.

Our government is about to give a permanent solution to the Tamil people and this is the time the party (TNA) should take robust action. Therefore the government or the Premier doesn’t need to divide the party”, said Kiriella.
