Drone video captures repairs on key Scottish bridge
Drone video released on Monday (December 14) showed the progress of repairs to the Forth Road Bridge in Scotland.
The bridge has been closed to traffic since December 4 after a crack was discovered in one of the structures below the bridge.
The video shows workers hanging from large sections of the bridge making repairs on supports and checking the bridge.
A representative from the Amey Company who is repairing the bridge said that a final plan has been designed for the repair on the bridge and that multiple teams have been working 24/7 to fix the fault since the crack was discovered.
The Amey Company also said that, weather permitting, the repairs on the bridge should be completed in the New Year.
The bridge connects Edinburgh at Queensferry to Fife at North Queensferry.
