Security tight in Manila ahead of APEC leaders arrivals
Security was tight in the Philippine capital on Tuesday (November 17) one day before the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Leaders’ meeting in Manila.

Soldiers with artillery equipment were positioned near Manila Bay, close to the APEC Leaders meeting venue.
The Philippines went on high alert after news of the Paris attacks broke out, ramping up security in its capital to ensure the safety of thousands of delegates.
