Mahinda to the Presidential Commission again

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa is scheduled to appear again today before the Presidential Commission of Inquiry into investigation about Serious Acts of Fraud, Corruption and Abuse of Government Resources, Power and Privileges. (PRECIFAC).

Today and tomorrow the Presidential Commission is scheduled to seek evidence from the public with regard to the non-payment of dues to ITN for commercial advertisements telecast on behalf of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa at the last presidential election.

For this former President Mahinda Rajapaksa has been informed to appear before the Commission once again.

Along with the former president, former mass media minister Keheliya Rambukwella and former chairman of the ITN, Anura Sriwardana have also been summoned.

The former President had been informed to come to the PRECIFAC on 17th last month.
