Katchativu must be Retrieved: Indian Communist Party

The Indian Communist Party has insisted to have a review on the providence of Katchativu to Sri Lanka as it had been the course of fishermen crises.

While addressing in a protest meeting at T.Nagar in Chennai yesterday, the National Secretary of the Communist Party D. Rajah made this statement.

Sri Lankan Navy assault Indian fishermen and those who cross the border have been charged under the Prevention of Terrorism Act by Sri Lankan Government and this is against the International Law, he added.

In addition, D. Rajah condemned the resolution made by Sri Lankan Government to fine of 15 Crores on those who cross the border. He also blamed the Central Government does not interested in the issue of Indian fishermen.
