Tour of Britain heads to Kelso and Edinburgh
The tour of the Britain cycling race is set to reach Scotland with one stage finishing the border the other stage starting with Edinburgh.
One stage ends the other one starting in Edinburgh. The country tourism chief believes the event will encourage more people to consider Scotland as cycling destination.
It will pass through the borders again on tomorrow, with the stage with start in Edinburghand ends in Blyth.
Southern Scotland has a strong history of hosting stages in the Tour of Britain since the race was relaunched in 2004.
