Murray to start Wimbledon campaign
British number one Andy Murray begins his bid to reclaim the Wimbledon title he won in 2013 against Mikhail Kukushkin of Kazakhstan today (Tuesday).
The pair will meet in the third match on Centre Court at about 17:00 BST.
Defending women’s champion Petra Kvitova opens play on day two against Dutch player Kiki Bertens at 13:00.
Former champions Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal are also in action, while former British number one Laura Robson faces Russia’s Evgeniya Rodina.
Second seed Federer plays Bosnian Damir Dzumhur in the second match on Centre Court, while 10th seed Nadal opens play on Court One against Thomaz Bellucci of Brazil.
“I am practising well this week,” said Nadal, who has not been beyond the fourth round in his past three visits to Wimbledon.
