“The money is not worth then our sister Vithiya’s life. We do not need any financial assistance, we need justice. We urges you to punished them with death penalty those who arrested connection with murder of Sister Vithiya Sivaloganathan” Said by sister of Vithiya. The Jaffna court complex had been damaged by protesters during the protests demonstration against the rape and murder of the schoolgirl calling angrily for the heads of the killer-rapists. President visited Jaffna and met the parents of Sivaloganathan Vithya, the teenager who was found raped and murdered recently, at the Jaffna Governor’s residence then he expressed his deep regret over the incident.

During this meeting Vithiya’s mother requested to the president that they have unsafe environment in the Jaffna.  Since, I am a student of university of Vavuniya, the president promised us that he will provide a home at Vavuniya. However, our main concern in that culprits has to be punished with death penalty.

Deputy Minister Vijayakala had visited to our home. We were told that MP Vijayakala also helped to the Swiss citizen for escape. It was miscomprehended, we are clear now. She is the one who given information to the culprits purposefully in order track them.
