One Plus, as promised, and launched its Power Bank in India

One Plus, as promised, and launched its Power Bank in India. It is now available to buy via exclusive online partner Amazon.

Called the OnePlus Power Bank, it features a 10000mAh capacity, and will be available in Silk White and Sandstone Black colors, just like the One Plus One smart phones themselves. It is now available to b at Rs. 1,399.

The OnePlus Power Bank bears two USB ports for simultaneous charging, and takes roughly 5.5 hours to charge itself. It has dimensions 142.8×72.6×16.2mm, and weighs 220 grams. The Power Bank sports battery indicator LEDs while also offering safety features to prevent overcharging and overheating. The box includes the OnePlus Power Bank and a USB cable.

To recall, OnePlus unveiled the 10000mAh Power Bank in December, priced at $14.99 (roughly Rs. 950), but only made it available  in March.

The newly launched OnePlus Power Bank featuring 10000mAh battery will be up against the likes of Xiaomi’s Mi 10400 mAh Power Bank that is available at a lower price of Rs. 999 and the Asus ZenPower portable charger featuring  10050mAh capacity at Rs. 1,499.

Last month, OnePlus India Head Vikas Agarwal on the official forum had confirmed the 1000mAh power ban would be available in India.  Apart from the Power Bank, Agarwal also confirmed that the Bamboo Covers for the One smart phone would be available in India soon.

One Plus One  last week announced that all legal proceedings with Micro max in India were resolved and the cases were withdrawn through mutual consent. This would mean that all One Plus One smartphone users will receive Cyanogen OS OTA (over-the-air) updates the same as other markets.

The Chinese company last month announced that the’2014 flagship killer’ smartphone would be available without invites ‘forever’. The announcement also applied to India.
