Mild earthquake in Kutch district of Gujarat

A mild quake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale was felt this morning in Kutch district of Gujarat. However, there were no reports of any casualties. “A minor earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale hit Kutch district at 6.30 AM. The epicenter of the earthquake was 22 kms northwest from Bhachau town of district,” officials of the Institute of Seismological Research (ISR) said.

According to the India Meteorological Center. The quake was centered at a depth of 10 kilometers underground in the Richter scale was recorded at 3.4 percent. The recent earth quake had been impact in north part in India, Delhi and suburb area.

The “Sikimi” (area of near the Nepal border) Bihar, West Bengal, Gujarat and Rajasthan states, including the earthquake was felt.  Again in this case, in the state of Gujarat has created fears among people who have experienced mild tremor.
